Our Story
The Corner Deli has been locally owned and operated for 35 years and counting! It was originally opened by Dennis Gulcher and then passed on to Mark & Cindy Stephens. When they retired in 2021, US Navy Veteran Mike Best picked it up and continues their long-standing traditions of community support, use of local distributors, and their amazing recipes. As the last independent Deli in town, we serve hot and cold subs, along with meats by the pound. You can order online for pickup or delivery through our website and mobile app up to 7 days in advance. The Phone line is reserved for Party Sub reservations only. Our bread is baked fresh daily and made by local businesses; our meats and cheeses proudly come from Boar’s Head, and we make our own potato salad and coleslaw. Come get your sub today!

The best sandwich in town and the best bread I’ve ever had in general. The menu is so big, you can pretty much get whatever sandwich you can think of. I’ve been to Las Cruces twice, and I’ve made it a point to come here both times. Great experience!

Ordered a marbled rye corned beef Reuben sandwich and a ham chicken cheese sub. Service was good and sandwiches were amazing, one of the best Reubens in NM! The bread for the subs were so soft and plush, my boyfriend loved it.
